As expected, Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL made its debut in the United States earlier today. The smartphone powered by Windows 10 Mobile is now available for purchase at T-Mobile.

Customers can grab this one at T-Mobile for only $139 outright or $0 down and $5.84 per month for two years. It's only available in cyan color, but that shouldn't be an issue since it looks really nice.

Specs-wise, the OneTouch Fierce XL is a bit of a mix between low-end and mid-range. One thing is sure: it will not support Continuum for Phones.

The Alcatel OneTouch smartphone is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

T-Mobile has also confirmed the phablet comes with VoLTE (voice over LTE), T-Mobile Wi-Fi calling compatibility, and FCC Mandated Anti-Theft Protection.

It comes with Windows 10 Mobile build 10586.63

The OneTouch Fierce XL sports a large 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution. At the back, the handset packs an 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash, and video recording.

Sadly, the front side features a modest 2-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls, though we would have expected a slightly better one.

Last but not least, Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL will be powered by a non-removable 2,500 mAh battery that is rated by the carrier for up to 14 hours of talk time or up to 820 hours of standby time.

When it comes to connectivity, the Windows 10 Mobile handset is an all-rounder. The smartphone offers 4G LTE, along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS with AGPS support.

The OneTouch Fierce XL will compete in the US market with Microsoft's Lumia 550 and BLU's cheap Windows Phone smartphones.
