14 DAY TRIAL // Waze has been making a name of itself by adding many celebrities to its voice narrator list. The latest addition to this list is Morgan Freeman, the main star of the upcoming “London Has Fallen” movie where he plays US Vide President Trumbull.
“Yes, it’s true. Morgan Freeman, star of the upcoming film London Has Fallen, will now be directing you through traffic as Vice President Trumbull. Far and away one of the most requested voices by Wazers, U.S drivers will now be able to have Mr. Freeman as their new executive copilot,” announce developers in a blog post.
One of the best navigation applications for Android and iOS devices, Waze had been recruiting celebrities for a few years now. Kevin Hart and Arnold Schwarzenegger are among the most popular stars that are now guiding Waze users with their voices through traffic.
The developer is always trying to get new voice suggestions from its users and some of the names that really gain traction during these polls are usually added to Waze sooner or later.
The voice is available for a limited time
In case you already use Waze as your day-to-day navigation application, you can now use Morgan's voice to guide you to where you want to go, but keep in mind that he's only available for a limited time.
If you wish to download the application and voice for free, then you should open Waze and head to Settings / Voice Language / Morgan Freeman.
But if you had no idea that such an application exists, you can now download Waze for Android for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.0 and up.
For iOS users, the application can be downloaded for free via App Store. It should work smoothly on all devices running iOS 7.0 or later.
