Indie studio Triangle Square recently revealed their real-time strategy game Spirit Oath will enter Steam Early Access tomorrow, June 2. The game will be available for purchase for just $10 / €10 (regularly priced at $15 / €15) and will include a big chunk of content.

Spirit Oath mixes rogue-lite inspired by tabletop games, action, and real-time strategy elements. Moreover, the game plays like a fast-paced action-adventure meant to push players' concentration skills to the limit.

Those who plan on picking this one up should know that the first Early Access version of Spirit Oath will include quite a lot of content. Players will be able to step into the shoes of the mystic forest guardian Darom, captured by dark and evil forces and imprisoned in an ancient and mysterious totem.

In Spirit Oath, players must use forbidden magic to summon pure spirits who can protect Darom and her brethren, as well as defeat the enemies. Your objective is to save Darom’s homeland Elderwood and its inhabitants by playing in story mode or take on the challenge of randomly generated skirmish levels to help build your skills.

One of the main gameplay features of the game is the ability to create patterns with rune tiles to summon and command spirit warriors to defend and protect your lands. Spirit Oath involves the use of strategy and quick thinking to annihilate enemies and protect the inhabitants of Elderwood.

Ultimately, Spirit Oath intertwines board games with real-time strategy elements wrapped in a neat, clean art style, resulting in an engaging fast-paced game with unique gameplay.

No release date has been revealed yet, but developers stated that Spirit Oath will remain in Early Access for about half a year, which means the full version might still be released at the end of 2020.
