Indivisible, the upcoming game created by Lab Zero Games, the developers behind the Skullgirst smash hit, has just received a brand new action-packed trailer and a release date. For those in North America, Indivisible will release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 8, with a full global release following on October 11.

Judging by what we're seeing in the character and combat trailer released today by publisher 505 Games, it looks like Indivisible would be a perfect Nintendo Switch game. The good news is a Switch version has been confirmed, but the bad news is it will come later this year.

The new Indivisible trailer highlights the game’s unique character combat mechanics and its colorful hand-drawn and animated fantasy world. The game mixes platformer-like gameplay and epic RPG battles, but a big chunk of Indivisible requires exploration too.

The combat gameplay features clips of animated cutscenes created by Studio Trigger (Kill La Kill) and Titmouse (Apex Legends, Rick and Morty). There's no better way to offer fans a sneak peek at lead protagonist Ajna’s powerful Heruka form and other mysterious abilities, then to bring such a talented crew together.

Keep in mind that Lab Zero Games offers a variety of pre-order incentives, depending on platform and retailer. For example, those who pre-order the game via Steam will receive exclusive character colors inspired by Valve fan-favorite games Half-Life, Portal and Team Fortress 2. They will also receive a Portal Companion Cube. GOG customers will get exclusive character colors inspired by the biggest games on GOG and the platform itself.

PlayStation 4 exclusive pre-order bonuses include a digital copy of Indivisible's soundtrack composed by Hiroki Kikuta (Secret of Mana), and exclusive in-game cosmetic character skins and recolors.

Last but not least, Xbox One players who pre-order Indivisible will receive exclusive in-game cosmetic character skins and recolors. Regardless of the platform and retailer, everyone who pre-orders the game will receive “Follow Me Roti!” that lets Roti, Ajna’s lovable pet tapir, follow her along the adventure to save the world of Loka.
