Acer used this year’s CES to announce the latest two additions to the company’s new-generation lineup of laptops.

The brand-new Swift Go 16 and Swift Go 14 are both based on the same approach as before, so they are trying to deliver an optimized hardware offering in a very light and thin body.

But the number one highlight this time is the OLED displays that support 500-nit brightness.

The larger of the two laptops comes with a 16-inch 3.2K OLED screen with a resolution of 3200x2000 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The 14-inch version packs a 2.8K OLED panel whose refresh rate dropped to 90Hz.

Power on the two devices comes from the newly-announced Intel Core H-series processors, and Acer claims they should provide an “all-day battery life” of more than 9.5 hours. In theory, this means the laptops should get you through a typical workday, especially as they’ve been specifically optimized for video collaboration.

“13th Gen Intel Core processors with the Intel Movidius VPU have a dedicated AI engine that allows for premium video collaboration, uncompromised AI, and seamless integration. The notebooks also come with Intel Unison to let users easily connect their PCs with Android or iOS devices for a universal, easy-to-use experience. The new solution puts the PC at the center of all activities and provides the freedom to work across operating systems for effortless file transfers, calling, messaging, and managing notifications, all on one screen,” Intel explains.

The two devices can be fitted with up to 2TB of SSD storage and a maximum of 16 GB RAM. The feature arsenal also includes USB-C, HDMI 2.1, microSD, integrated webcams, and the TwinAr dual fan system with Dual D6 copper heat pipes.

The 16-inch model will go on sale in North America in June and will cost $799 for the base model. The 14-inch sibling will be sold starting at $849.99, with sales to begin in May.
