Zynga's critically-acclaimed play-chips poker has just made its entrance on the Android mobile platform. Rumors about a possible launch of the Android version of Zynga's Poker game have been circulating until November, when the company officially announced that it had begun developing the application for Google's mobile operating system.

Zynga is the second company to develop an Android poker application, after Rush Poker Mobile was announced last month by Full Tilt Poker.

Unfortunately, the application was soon pulled out from the Android Market because it uses real money, which is against Google's regulations.

However, poker players can still play Rush Poke Mobile on their Android smartphones by downloading the application directly from Full Tilt Poker's site or by using a QR code.

Zynga Poker is one of the biggest Texas Hold'em game on Facebook. Justin Cinicolo, general manager of Zynga's mobile division, claims that Zynga's Poker application has 375,000 concurrent users at any given moment and that 90,000 players are going "all in" at any given minute.

The developer offers 10,000 bonus chips for all Android users who download the application.

Some of the key features of the application include:

- Play against your friends; - Choose from 5 or 9 person tables with blinds up to a million; - Compete in sit-n-go tournaments; - Win up to $1 million chips in the daily lottery.

The applications requires players to have a Facebook account to play, as it connects to Zynga Poker via the Facebook log in.

It appears that Zynga is slowly starting to focus on mobile platform apps, as it already published several of its biggest titles on Apple's iOS platform, including Live Poker (also based on Texas Hold’em Poker), Street Racing, Vampires: Bloodlust, Mafia Wars, as well as FarmVille.

Zynga Poker for Android is available as a free download from Softpedia.
