30-year-old Alexis Wright, the woman who has gained worldwide fame for running a call girl operation out of a zumba studio, has been sentenced.
According to Reuters, she will only be serving 10 months in county jail. As I wrote previously, Wright ran her business from the seemingly quiet town of Kennebunk, Maine, and most of her “johns” were locals.
57-year-old Mark Strong would help her keep track of her more than 150 clients, but he also kept video recordings of the sessions that prompted a guilty plea by Wright in March.
Wright has told the court about being abused by her father as a child, as well as witnessing several incidents of domestic violence.
Superior Court Justice Nancy Mills is also making her pay $60,000 (€46,200) in welfare benefits, which Wright has been collecting.
