Zumba Fitness, the 505 published video game which aims to make its players slimmer and healthier, has managed to top the United Kingdom weekly video game chart, edging out some pretty important titles, like Crysis 2 and the new Tiger Woods golf simulation.

Zumba Fitness is the latest in a wave of sports-based titles and its popularity is linked to the way it managed to combine dancing with some pretty tough exercise routines.

Crysis 2, the Nanosuit-powered first person shooter from Crytek, has managed to slide down just one place, reaching second place in the chart, as players are still interested in seeing how New York is being destroyed by the alien assault and try out the all-new multiplayer mode.

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars has taken the third place in the United Kingdom chart for the second week running, showing the continuing popularity of both the long-running franchise created by George Lucas and of how the LEGO re-imagining introduced the content to a whole new audience.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters, the golf simulator from EA Sports, has managed to have a very good week, going from sixth place to fourth as the titular sportsman has again failed to make an impact in the biggest competition of the season.

Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed, the racing simulator from Slightly Mad Studios and Electronic Arts, has also gone down one place in the chart, reaching fifth position while Homefront, the first-person shooter from Kaos Studios and THQ, now sits in sixth place.

WWE All Stars, also from THQ, has managed to hold onto the seventh position while eighth and ninth place are occupied by the Black and the White versions of the new Pokemon release, which are staging a comeback after being briefly outside the top ten.

The top ten is closed down by Dynasty Warriors 7 from Koei.
