Zotac has just finished making the official introduction of its latest nettops, ZBOX HD-ND22, HD-NS21 and ION-ITX O and P series, which combines the performance and feature sets of the Intel consumer low-voltage (CULV) CPUs and NVIDIA's ION graphics.

The HD-ND22 and HD- NS21 are powered by the 1.3GHz single-core Intel Celeron 743 and the Intel SU2300 CULV (1.2GHz dual-core) central processing units, respectively.

Both of them also make use of the NVIDIA ION GPU, which has 16 unified shaders and a shared video memory of up to 512MB.

The machines also come with a 2.5-inch hard drive of undetermined capacity, as well as a pair of DDR3 memory slots and video outputs, specifically DVI and HDMI.

What's more, the products have all the necessary connectivity and I/O options, such as Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n WiFi, eSATA, a 6-in-1 card reader, USB 2.0 ports and 7.1 channel audio.

“Intel CULV processors have previously been exclusive to ultra-portable notebooks, but not anymore,” said Carsten Berger, marketing director, ZOTAC International.

“We’ve taken the award-winning Intel CULV processors and paired them with our award-winning ION platforms to produce the world’s first mini-PCs and mini-ITX platforms that combine the power of Intel CULV processors with NVIDIA ION graphics processing for the perfect combination of CPU and GPU performance with superior energy-efficiency,” he added.

In addition to the ZBOX HD-N series, Zotac also completed the ION-ITX N and P. These two have the mini-ITX form factor, the same CPUs as the other two, respectively, plus PCI Express slots (one each).

They also each integrate 3 SATA 3.0 Gbps and an eSATA port, plus DVI-D, VGA and HDMI outputs. Finally, they can be mounted in four different positions, even at the back of the monitor.

Unfortunately, the company chose not to disclose any pricing details, which means end-users still have to wait for retailers to eventually list them online.
