We have seen a series of graphics makers at this year's CeBIT show in Hanover, Germany, one of them being Zotac, NVIDIA's graphics partner, which has brought its latest GeForce graphics cards and even more. Having already introduced a new liquid-cooled GeForce GTX 285 card, Zotac has taken things a bit further by demonstrating what its cards can do when coupled with the Nitro overclocking tool. In addition, one of the other highlights at the company's booth was the AMP version of the recently introduced GeForce GTS 250.

The system was impressive to say the least, combining two of NVIDIA's latest high-end GeForce cards with Intel's Nehalem-based Core i7 platform. With some additional water cooling and other high-end products, the system is packed with the Zotac Nitro, a device meant to monitor and help computer enthusiasts better handle their high-end desktop rigs.

In addition to the Nitro-equipped rig, Zotac has demoed a number of other high-end products, including an AMP version of the new GeForce GTS 250 graphics card. The solution, based on the newly announced NVIDIA GPU, has been added to a series that also includes the ZOTAC GeForce GTS 250 512MB and the GeForce GTS 250 1GB cards.

The ZOTAC GeForce GTS 250 series of graphics solutions comes with a unified architecture, 128 high-speed programmable stream processors and GDDR3 memory with a wide 256-bit memory interface. The new cards are able to offer support for technologies like DirectX 10 and OpenGL 2.1, as well as for NVIDIA CUDA and PhysX technologies. The GTS 250 AMP! Edition card includes the fast 0.8-nanosecond GDDR3 video memory, providing the performance needed by the newest 3D titles and applications.

“Gamers are always looking for the best performance for their money. With the new ZOTAC GeForce GTS 250 series, we're delivering a graphics card that offers breathtaking performance with loads of technology,” said Carsten Berger, marketing director, ZOTAC International.
