The motherboard from Zotac is capable of both high performance and operating at low power through the possibilities for Voltage adjustments brought about by the overclocking capabilities. The motherboard also has an integrated GeForce 9300 graphics processor, which also boasts performance enhancements. Introducing the feature-rich GeForce9400-ITX WiFi, also known as the GF9300-I-E.

"ZOTAC was the world's first manufacturer to provide users with high-performance mini-ITX platforms with PCI Express 2.0 x16 expansion that made no compromises for performance. Our latest ZOTAC GeForce 9300-ITX WiFi, GF9300-I-E, takes our award winning formula of combining performance with a small form factor and supercharges it to make the world's fastest mini-ITX platform available," Carsten Berger, marketing director, ZOTAC International, said.

The motherboard can support Intel Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Extreme, Pentium and Celeron processors and has an LGA775 socket. The board has a front-side bus capable of up to 1333MHz and boasts also a range of CPU overclocking functions. More specifically, the CPU voltage may be modified between -0.1-volts and +0.3-volts, the Chipset Voltage may run on voltage increases of 1.10-volts up to 1.25-volts, whereas the memory may also be boosted by increasing the voltage by 1.80 to 2.10-volts. The motherboard uses polymer capacitors and an Internal S/PDIF audio output header.

The integrated graphics processor is the NVIDIA GeForce 9300 chipset. This graphics controller has 16 CUDA cores and the clocks run at frequencies of 580 MHz for the GPU and of 1400 MHz for the shader clock. The controller boasts the NVIDIA PureVideo HD technology and compatibility with Microsoft DirectX 10 with Shader Model 4.0, as well as with OpenGL 3.2. The card has a Dual-link DVI output capable of rendering resolutions as high as 2560x1600. The enhancements made to the graphics chip are a 22% boost to the engine clock and a 14% increase to the shader clock.

"Tweaking graphics processors to extract every ounce performance possible is what we do best at ZOTAC. With our new GeForce 9300-ITX WiFI, we're extending the extensive tweaking and tuning to our mini-ITX platforms," Mr. Berger added.

As I/O options, the GF9300-I-E features three SATA 3.0 Gb/s + one eSATA w/RAID 0, 1, 0+1 & 5 support, and has a PCI Express 2.0 x16 for expansion. The product is also built with support for wake-on USB and has Optical & Coaxial S/PDIF outputs for a full enjoyment of the Onboard 5.1-channel high-definition audio.
