With a new GeForce 9600 GT card

It looks like Sapphire isn't the only graphics manufacturer that likes to experiment with a certain GPU. In fact, one of NVIDIA's partners seems to be doing the same thing with a GeForce 9600 GT card. The partner in question is Zotac, which is rumored to release a new custom-built card, based on the 65nm G94 chip.

Unfortunately, this is just one of those cards of whose existence you get to hear from various websites, which means that it is yet to become official. Regardless of that, thanks to the images posted on the donanimhaber forum, we can say with certainty that Zotac's upcoming card looks very impressive. Unlike other custom-built cards, this one isn't special because of its factory overclocked settings or various cool-looking heat-dissipating solutions, but rather for its connectivity options.

With most graphics cards, manufacturers offer a standard number of display ports, that is, two DVI ports and a TV out, or they choose to replace one of the DVIs with a VGA port to support older displays. Zotac has apparently decided to build its card differently, meaning, in such a way as to offer no less than six connectivity options. With this card, you will get everything from a TV-Out to one VGA, an HDMI, a DisplayPort and dual-DVI connectors.

Other than the impressive number of options, the card also packs a custom cooling system. Based on a blue PCB, the card comes with a dual-slot GPU cooler, which features two copper heatpipes and an array of aluminum fins. All memory chips will come with passive cooling, as each one of them has been equipped with a separate heatsink.

As already noted, details about the new card are still scarce, as all we have for now are the pictures displayed on the above-mentioned web page. This means that there are no clock rates or other technical details, for that matter, that could offer us a better understanding of what this card is capable of.
