The judge in the Zimmerman trial has allowed evidence that shows that the victim, 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, had traces of THC in his blood when he was killed.

As I wrote, Zimmerman alleges that he shot Martin in self-defense after he was attacked by the teen. The evidence suggests that the victim was smoking pot on the day of the incident.

As the defense started its round of questioning, Zimmerman's father was brought in to stress once more that he heard his own son yelling on a 911 tape that has been debated since the trial started.

According to Click Orlando, the toxicology report showed that the THC in his blood had some “some effect” on how Martin was acting on the night of his murder.

Judge Debra S. Nelson has accepted the report into evidence to ensure that the verdict is not thrown out on grounds of a mistrial.
