The upcoming EICMA show in Milan is to witness a very important premiere next month, as electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles will be making its first appearance at the world’s biggest two-wheel trade event.

The American manufacturer plans to unveil its 2012 models in an all-new booth design similar to the display featured earlier this year at the 2011 MotoGP at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

The revamped booth will host interactive display kiosks, vibrant Zero Motorcycles imagery and of course, the entire all-new 2012 product line.

“As we’ve solidified our international distribution efforts by expanding into Australia, Canada and most recently Brazil, and with our longstanding relationships in the U.S and throughout Europe, our attendance at the 2011 EICMA show is a logical extension of our goal to continue growing the Zero brand on a global level,” said Scot Harden, Vice President of Global Marketing, Zero Motorcycles.

“We are looking forward to seeing the response to our 2012 model line announcement especially in light of all the dramatic new features and improvements our engineering teams have accomplished. It’s also important for us from the perspective of reaching out to the European market as we roll out our dealer development program in key markets in Europe,” Harden added.

The current (2011) model lineup comprises the Zero S, Zero DS, Zero X, Zero XU and Zero MX models.

The company offers street legal configurations of the dirt bikes and a  maintenance free belt drive for the street and dual sport models.

Street-legal versions include additional components such as headlights, taillights, sidestands, dashes, sensors and different gearing.

The entire lineup is equipped with upgraded suspension systems, an enhanced Z-Force powertrain, more precise charge indicators, new higher performance brakes and industry-standard component features to provide owners with more aftermarket options.
