Zeiss 24-70mm FE lens is a compact zoom lens designed to work with any full frame E-mount camera and features a constant f/4 maximum aperture for the entire focal range.
The lens comes with multiple weather resistant seals that protect your lens from humidity and dust. To minimize flare and ghosting, the new Zeiss 24-70mm FE lens features Carl Zeiss T anti-reflective coating that ensures the best clarity and contrast possible.
The SEL-2470Z lens incorporates in its construction five aspherical elements and one ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass element designed to minimize distortion and chromatic aberrations.
The new Zeiss 24-70mm FE lens will hit European stores in January 2014 at a price of €1,199 / ₤998 / $1,599 and in February 2014 for the US market.
