Sadly the device might become available only on Asian markers

Now here’s something interesting. Ever since Acer launched the first 8-inch Windows 8 tablet PC at Computex, customers have been complaining about the lack of 3G / 4G support.

Recent tablets like Dell Venue 8 Pro or ASUS VivoTab Note 8 might be great Bay Trail-powered tablets, but they lack this particular feat. Since 8-inchers are inherently portable, being able to connect everywhere would certainly be a plus for a lot of customers.

Nevertheless, the void might be soon filled by Shenzen Ze Feng Skytop Technology, which is set to launch a 3G Bay-Trail-powered 8-inch tablet with Windows 8 around February 20 (via PadNews).

The device is apparently called ZeePhone and, judging by the name, it will allow users to place phone calls too. Its price is said to be competitive, but at the moment I can’t tell you whether you’re going to see the 8-incher outside of Asia or not.
