Boost Mobile's first ZTE smartphone, the Warp has just become cheaper as the carrier slashed $50 off from its original $249.99 (180 EUR) price.

ZTE Warp was introduced by Boost Mobile two weeks ago and is the carrier's first Android phone that comes pre-loaded with the ‘Boost Zone’ app, which allows customers to access their account, pay their bill, and get support for their phone.

Obviously, the application will be pushed to all Boost Mobile Android devices, but the ZTE Warp was the first to come bundled with the software.

ZTE Warp is a stylish mid-budget Android smartphone that is equipped with a 1 GHz processor, 2GB of internal memory, and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Boost Mobile is very excited to partner with one of the fastest growing and largest handset makers in the world, to introduce the ZTE Warp. ZTE Warp delivers a powerful Android device for Boost Mobile customers searching for a big screen experience to capture and view higher quality photos and video,” said Andre Smith, vice president-Boost Mobile, at the time of the launch.

The Warp comes with a large 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 16 million colors support and 480 x 800 pixels resolution, as well as a 5-megapixel camera with camcorder.

Furthermore, the device is powered by Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform and provides users access to more than 250,000 apps via Android Market.

Boost Mobile delivers the ZTE Warp with Mobile ID exclusive service, which allows users to customize their phone via “ID packs.”

On related news, Boost Mobile announced that each customer who activates a ZTE Warp with a Daily Unlimited Plan or an Android Monthly Unlimited receives a one-time $55 credit to their Boost Mobile account. The deal is only available until November 8 at 11:59 PM.
