Chinese mobile phone makers out there have already had their share of record blink sales with various smartphones and other mobile devices, and ZTE has joined the party as well with the Nubia X6, it seems.

Apparently, the company managed to sell the first batch of ZTE Nubia X6 handsets in less than 10 seconds when making it available for purchase earlier this week, GizChina reports.

Unfortunately, no specific info on the exact number of units sold has been provided as of now, and we cannot say for sure how impressive the company’s successful sale was.

However, the speed at which this device was sold out does shows once again that users in China are highly fond of smartphones with large displays.

What remains to be seen, however, is how well the phone will continue selling moving forth, especially since ZTE is set to put it up for grabs again on May 27 at 10 AM (though only in China). Hopefully, info on the phone’s sales numbers will also be revealed soon.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the ZTE Nubia X6 was released with a 6.4-inch Sharp OGS display that can deliver a full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution.

Moreover, the smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 801 processor, which is complemented by 2GB of RAM, thus being capable of providing users with appealing performance capabilities at all times. A variant of the phone with 3GB of RAM inside was also unveiled.

Moreover, the mobile phone features a 13-megapixel camera on the back, with support for full HD video recording, and with Optical Image Stabilization technology inside. Moreover, the handset’s front camera comes with auto-focus functionality.

ZTE Nubia X6 was announced in two different variants, one with 2GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal memory, and another with 3GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Both versions come with a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.

Moreover, we should note that ZTE launched the handset with a non-removable Li-ion 4250mAh battery inside, capable of offering up to 17 hours of talk time on 3G networks, or up to 695 hours of standby time.

The smartphone runs under the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system right from the start, though ZTE might be planning on updating it to a newer version of the mobile platform. As mentioned above, the next batch of Nubia X6 phones will arrive in China next week, so keep your eyes peeled if you want to grab one.
