Today, wireless operator US Cellular has officially announced the availability of ZTE Grand S Pro on its network, with a price tag of $99.99 (€74) attached to it, with the signing of a two year contract agreement.

The new device arrives at the mobile phone carrier with a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor inside, as well as with 2GB of RAM, which means that it will be able to deliver appealing performance capabilities to its users.

For those out of the loop, we should also note that the mobile phone features a 5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 720p resolution, as well as Dolby Digital Plus sound.

On the back, the ZTE Grand S Pro packs a 13-megapixel camera with Zero Shutter Latency, capable of recording videos in full HD resolution.

“Advanced settings are similar to those found in professional cameras such as metering and focusing separation and compass assisted composition,” the wireless carrier notes.

The specs list of the handset also includes a 2MP front camera, along with a My Easy Access feature to launch the camera app right from the lock screen. The smartphone is powered by a 2300mAh battery.

Moreover, the new mobile phone was released with support for US Cellular’s 4G LTE network, so that its users can enjoy fast download speeds at all times. It comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity too, as well as with a built-in GPS receiver.

However, the handset comes with only 8GB of internal memory, although a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes was included in it.

At the same time, we should note that ZTE Grand S Pro was released with the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top. An upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat is expected to be provided, but no specific info on when that might happen has been offered as of now.

"The Grand S Pro proves that it is possible to deliver a high-performing device, without the high price tag. This smartphone showcases ZTE's definition of value which goes far beyond cost to deliver smart, affordable, quality choices,” Lixin Cheng, Chairman and CEO of ZTE USA, says.

The new ZTE Grand S Pro is already available for purchase on US Cellular, in time for Father's day, with the aforementioned price tag attached. Users interested in grabbing the device without a contract will have to pay $249.99 (€185) for it.

The new mobile phone joins a nice range of ZTE Grand devices at US Cellular, including Grand S, Grand MEMO, Grand ERA, Grand X and others.
