Twisted Ninja Software, debuted recently a YouTube Client for Mac OS X. Twisted Ninja Software is a little known company that developed applications like DeskTunes, Nine Figures and SnapShooter. Their software were no groundbreaking releases, although they were kind of nice and not that bad after all. Well, it seems that they have hit the jackpot with their new release as Tubular has got the opportunity to be a very successful application.

Tubular is a client that allows one to view videos from Youtube without needing to go to their website and it does not contain all of those annoying ads and banners that appear on the site.

As they describe it: It's pretty. Tubular was designed to have a simple, elegant, and out-of-the-way user interface that still manages to look gorgeous. With icons designed by Cyril Seillet and Tom Stoelwinder, and a user interface designed with the collective wisdom of dozens of people, Tubular is simply beautiful.

Tubular's "look and feel" are inspired by iTunes and they seems to offer a great user interface that is intuitive and usable; and as far as the utilities, well... they might offer something that one would find extremely useful.

First of all, it offers more ability to navigate trough Youtube contents more freely and more important, the ability to store all the clips one might want, and something that one would enjoy the most are the facilities it offers when communicating with an iPod. Tubular can convert any video into a format that is supported on any fifth-generation video iPod. This means that practically, now, a video iPod can play everything one wants as Youtube offers a great deal of videos that might be sometimes a little hard to get through other methods.

If some might worry that by viewing videos with Tubular, they won't be able to send the URL's of the videos they've watched to their friends so that they might enjoy them too, well, they have nothing to worry about as the developers thought of this and Tubular permits the copying of Youtube URLs directly from the application itself. Basically, with this software, one does not need to enter Youtube's website and it is able to watch videos more freely.

Tubular is going to be released some time before the end of 2006, but it is now available for pre-orders for $12.99. The prices will eventually rise after its release. Until then, the developers' crew will be unveiling more about their application in the next couple of weeks so if interested, check it out Here.
