Publisher Ubisoft has announced that Your Shape: Fitness Evolved, the exercise title it has launched exclusively for the Xbox 360 home console and its Kinect motion tracking system, is set to get a series of new exclusive workouts early in December as downloadable content through the Xbox Live Marketplace.

The new DLC will include: “Toned Body Program”, designed to strengthen all your muscles and get a firmer overall body and “Cardio Boxing Platinum”, which revamps the exercise class and makes it both more difficult and more effective.

A second DLC pack will include: “New Year New You”, which the publisher has specifically designed to get a user back in shape after the weight gain which is to be expected after Christmas and the New Year celebrations and “Dance Workout: Bollywood”, a program that, as the name suggests, is based upon hit Indian movies.

Ubisoft also has plans for next year, saying that the first half of 2011 another 12 workout programs will be released.

Claudine Cézac, who is the producer for Your Shape: Fitness Evolved, has stated when the announcement was made that, “When we started working on the development of Your Shape: Fitness Evolved, we contacted several renowned fitness experts and trainers.”

The developer added, “Each trainer insisted on the fact that in order to keep people motivated, it would be important to consistently bring new varieties of exercise to the game. That’s why from the very start, we thought of Your Shape: Fitness Evolved as a comprehensive fitness program that players would be able to enrich at their will. There are many different ways to work out and get in shape, and that’s what we want to offer with the add-on content.”

Your Shape: Fitness Evolved is one of the titles which makes full use of the Kinect motion sensing system, launching at the same time as the device.
