Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the 19-year-old suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings who was captured the other day after an intense police manhunt and is now in critical condition, acted like a regular student and even went to a party after he and his brother set off the two bombs at the Marathon.

The Boston Globe spoke to his mates at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and they stress he didn’t act suspiciously at all after the bombings.

He was his usual self, “working out in the gym, then sleeping in his dorm room that night, while law enforcement officials frantically scanned photos trying to identify the men who planted deadly bombs at the Boston Marathon on Monday,” the publication writes.

One student speaking on the condition of anonymity even saw him at a party on Wednesday night in one of the dorm rooms.

“He was just relaxed,” she says.

Dzhokhar and his brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who died in a police shootout, are believed to have orchestrated the Boston Marathon bomb attacks, but their motives are yet to be determined.
