YouTube has been hiking up its focus on the original content creators that keep the site alive.

“You want to hear about the new stuff we’re working on ahead of time, so you can tell us if we’re heading in the right direction. Well, your wish is our command,” YouTube starts off.

Well, the company has put together its first Creator Preview video, which is a rundown of what YouTube has been working on to make the site better and the company is planning to keep everyone updated on what’s happening.

The big news that it has just shared with everyone is that in the coming months, YouTube will launch a separate mobile app that puts together the creator features that have been requested by the community. The new tool should help them reach the features they have the most use for extremely quickly.

The company will also introduce a feature that allows fans to directly contribute funds to their favorite creators on YouTube. Theoretically, this should help content creators stop using third-party sources to fund their projects, such as Patreon and more.

This is the first time YouTube promises to implement such a feature that would enable fans to pour money into the dreams of the content creators they favorite.

Lastly, YouTube intends to release a way to harness the power of the crowd to create captions and subtitles for videos in over 60 languages. This could come particularly in handy for all those interviews and tutorials you find online.

Users seem to be quite happy with YouTube’s ideas, which is a first in many months. Most of the latest reactions from users and content creators to recent updates haven’t really been positive, such as the decision to integrate Google+ with the comments section.

This time, however, people are excited about the entire batch of updates. YouTubers will become more plugged into the company’s tools and will be able to attract more audiences and to create more content thanks to the donations from users.

YouTube currently has several apps, including for mobile phones and tablets, as well as a special YouTube Camera for capturing and uploading videos in a heartbeat. Creating a new app for content creators should also help people feel like they’re part of a group; one that YouTube truly cares for.
