YouTube is the most popular video service in the world, allowing you to upload, publish, share and comment videos with other members of the community. Although YouTube is regarded as a video service, it is even more than that, representing a huge social network that allows registered members to communicate, share and discuss posted videos. Last year in October, the solution was acquired by Google, the company that owns the most popular search engine on the internet, for a price that shocked all the experts: $1.6 billion. At that time, analysts said that Google will never pay off the investment no matter what improvements the company decides to do.

It seems like the search giant never heard this statement because the company updated the video service multiple times, adding new features that are continuously attracting users. Some time ago, YouTube was improved with TestTube, a function inspired by Google's Labs that allows employees and users to test all the features that are meant to be included in the video solution.

As you probably know, Google also owns a similar video service, Google Video that also allows you to upload, post, share and comment videos with other members of the community. Although it is still in beta stages, Google Video attracts new users every day with a huge number of posted videos.

Recently, the company made an official statement to discuss the differences and the future of the two video services. Google said the solution will continue to work side by side with Video being based on the content published while YouTube will expand its incredible community.

Today, YouTube created another function that wasn't officially announced that looks like an invitation to publish Super Bowl adverts. The image posted on the page sustains that the program will start on February 4, 2007, displaying Super Bowl commercials, offering users the possibility to vote the best one.
