A shocking YouTube clip reveals that Chase Bank threw several documents containing clients' information in numerous trash bags. Among other types of information, the documents were showing social security numbers and bank accounts, a private type of data that might be used for identity theft. However, the authorities are trying to solve the issue but the clip is still available to all YouTube visitors. Chase Bank is a part of the famous JPMorgan Chase and is headquartered in New York City, the location where the YouTubers found the documents.

"Identity theft is one of the nation's fastest growing crimes that wreak havoc on the lives of unsuspecting victims. I plan to work with my colleagues to coordinate hearings or any other measures that will protect the victims of identity theft," said New York City Council Member and Consumer Affairs Committee Member, Charles Barron according to KSBI.

At this time, the clip is quite unpopular as it managed to attract 5.130 viewers, 28 comments and was rated as favorite for 11 times. Under the title "What if Identity Thieves Choose Chase?" the video reveals an important problem for the US caused by what it seems to be the ignorance of the local authorities.

In the past, YouTube was often used as a peacemaker and law enforcement tool as some Police officers were using the online video sharing product to resolve important cases. As I reported, the Police posted clips on YouTube to require users' help, identify and arrest the suspects. Because the cases were quite successful, the authorities from all around the world were visiting the Google service to upload surveillance clips and find the law offenders.
