Play online with ease

YouTube is the most popular online video sharing service on the Internet, tending to become a major social network based on movies. In the recent period, more and more users were using the Google product to upload clips, aiming to share their story and require help from other members of the service. Take the example of a woman fighting against cancer who decided to upload a clip showing the treatment and the signs of the disease on YouTube to inform users about the evolution of cancer.

It seems like YouTube not only helps people but the service also serves as the source of inspiration for other investors looking for successful businesses because Jim Greer, video game developer, tries to make a website similar with YouTube based only on games content. The website is currently available on the Internet for free but it only has 300 games.

As far I can see, all the games are Flash-based so all the users looking to play online games on Kongregate must install Adobe's utility. Although there are only a few games uploaded, the community is continuously growing up and we're already able to see numerous comments and reviews for every game published on the page.

The interesting aspect of this new service is the ability to chat with other members of the product while you're playing a certain game so, if you find difficult levels or zones feel free to ask other users. Kongregate works on the same technology as YouTube, allowing users to upload, share and comment games with other members of the community. Although the service is based on the content published by its users, I believe the company will easily avoid copyright problems, as the flash-based games are often available for free to all the Internet users.
