If you have heart problems

The online video sharing service owned by Google causes new trouble for the parent company but this time it's not about the well-known copyright infringement. The video service is now accused by a 44 year-old woman for displaying unfiltered content after her son had panic attacks caused by a YouTube clip. It seems like 19-year old boy watched a movie on the Google video service displaying a demonic figure around a fire as Manchester Evening News reported. It seems like the boy, who had anxiety problems in the past, suffered a panic attacked and needed medical help.

"He was watching this video and halfway through it he was complaining of stomach ache. I asked him what he watched and he said it had terrified him. It's still got its effects. He's got all those terrible thoughts in his head. I can't leave him on his own because of this video. It's in his mind. A friend of Lee's watched it and she couldn't sleep for two nights,They should not show this stuff. They are corrupting young people's minds. We want them to stop putting this stuff on their website because it's sending people nuts," Gail Freeman, the boy's mother sustained for the same publication.

Usually, YouTube is accused for copyright infringement so this is surely something new for the search giant. Today's case presents another point of view over the YouTube clips because it seems like the video service doesn't filter the violent content displayed on the page. I believe YouTube really needs a filter function able to block the violent clips and allow users and the uploader to flag a certain clip for mature content. At this time there's only one option that enables members to report the uploaded videos and help the YouTube employees to check the clip for inappropriate content.
