Google debuted a new set of updates that bring some new features for the video sharing service, improving the functionality and the users' powers. Among a lot of new functions, Google debuted the "Who can comment?" ability that will help uploaders control the comments for their videos. For example, you can customize your channel with the possibility to restrict the comments to friends or to allow all users to post messages. If you want to use the new function, this is available under the My Profile menu or in the Edit Video options for a single clip.

You're now able to configure the appearance of your own channel using the "Organize Videos" feature that enables you to select up to 9 clips to appear on the front page. The same function is also available for the channel's pages because they allow you to sort the clips by multiple options: most recent, most viewed and most discussed. The blocked users list was also improved because you can manipulate it easier by unblocking some of the members.

The sign-up form was also updated with a new feedback box that will help a new user know if the username is already registered. "When you sign up for a new account, we added quick feedback that lets you know immediately if a username is available or if you'll have to think of something else. We also made changes to the backend so that when you create a new Channel you'll be able to preview it and make changes a lot more quickly," the company presented the feature.

If you're a YouTube fan who likes to comment clips, you're now able to do it easier because you're now required to enter a captcha only for the first four comments while the other messages can be written without a security login.
