Every once in a while, the YouTube team discovers bugs, errors or just simple glitches that affect the experience of viewing the online clips. Recently, it was reported that there was a bug in the subscriber count system that caused the technology to crash so no new subscriber was recorded. Because sometimes it is very important to keep the technology up and stable, the YouTube team is always opened to suggestions and ready to make new adjustments in order to satisfy users' requirements. Since this bug was affecting the consumers, the folks working at the YouTubeplex fixed it quickly and now you can use the service without any error.

"A lot of you told us about a problem recently where subscribers were disappearing from your channels. We realize how hard you work to build your audience on YouTube, so we are happy to announce that last night the bug was fixed and subscriber numbers for the impacted accounts are currently being updated. Many thanks to everyone for letting us know what's on your mind - it really does help," the YouTube team wrote on its blog.

YouTube was acquired in October 2006 for $1.65 billion and since then, the online video sharing platform grew a lot, becoming the top solution in its category. Google loves to know that YouTube is the best technology on the market and, every time a potential competitor releases a similar solution, it bundles new features that bring its service in the spotlights.

Take for example the release of GodTube, a video sharing platform especially created for priests and Christians that provides instant access to an impressive collection of Church-related clips. At that time, YouTube rolled out a new channel with almost the same type of content that targets the same category of consumers hungry for vids.
