Violent officer shown on YouTube

A recently published YouTube clip shows us a violent police officer hitting a helpless person. Although the man wasn't injured, the officer hit him while other people were laughing in the background. The suspect was continuously requiring the officer to shoot him with the weapon but it's quite obvious that this is an improper behavior for a policeman. According to Local6.com, the clip was recorded last spring and was recently posted on YouTube.

"Interim Police Chief Larry Dickerson said Tuesday that Reynolds had been attending a social gathering, but was in uniform and on his way to work at the time. The man repeatedly asked Reynolds to use the weapon on him, and Reynolds eventually obliged - twice. "He said he just wanted to know what it felt like. Randy didn't want to do it at first, but the guy kept asking," said Dickerson, who interviewed the man," the same source added.

The policeman was warned against misusing the equipment provided for his job and will also be "fined" with a new page added to this file. However, some users consider that the police office should be punished tougher because his behavior might cause new problems in the future.

It's obvious that YouTube tends to be more than a simple video service as more and more clips are not published just to be shared with other members. Most of the uploaders are now hoping that their published clips will be viewed by some users able to help them. For example, a woman fighting against leukemia posted a clip on YouTube to find a matching donor for a bone marrow operation and save her life. After the video recorded a considerable number of views, she managed to find a matching donor in Denmark while numerous users contributed to the case by posting comments to encourage the victim of the disease.
