Dunkin' Donuts worker fought a robber so that he wouldn't look like a whimp

No, it's not April 1st, it's mid-December and this is not a magical story, it's one that would most definitely circle the globe with titles like "Heroic Employee honored by YouTube". Or not, it does sound like it's a tad out there with especially that title. What he will receive is the "Employee of the Month Award", that I'm sure of.

The borough musician, Dustin Hoffman by name and with no connection to the actor, had been working at the coffee and doughnuts chain for 10 months before the incident happened, whacked the robber over the head with a tip cup and by that stopped the crime that was going on from taking proportions. Crime is used with bunnyears, mind you.

The way the whole deal went down was actually really funny in my take on the situation: the robber, who the police think to be the guy, who had hit two Dunkin' Doughnuts in the past two weeks, ordered a blueberry cake doughnut and handed Hoffman a dollar bill, as Police Chief Donald Ingrasselino said. The moment the cashier opened the register, the burglar reached in and started grabbing the cash there. "What was going through my mind at that point was that the security tape is either going to show me run away and hide in the office or whack this guy in the head, so I just grabbed the cup and clocked that guy pretty hard", Hoffmann said.

Now, the worker is an eager beaver to show the entire world his bravery in the front of danger and his devotion to the colors that Dunkin' Doughnuts fly. He risked his life and the robber managed to escape with a measly 290 bucks, after he pulled the same job, a week before, and got about 1500 dollars out of it. Woe onto Dustin Hoffman's enemies!
