More and more adverts showing on YouTube

A new type of adverts was discovered on YouTube but it was probably only a test since it was already removed from the clips. Basically, the new adverts are very similar to the annoying ones displayed on the classic TV, and which are broadcast over the movies. As InsideGoogle reports, the videos published on YouTube now have two gold parts placed on the progress bar that reveal the beginning and the end of the adverts. However, please keep in mind that it was only a test so you're not able to view them unless you're a very lucky person.

After the advert ends, you have the option of reviewing it by pressing a small button displayed on the right part of the clip. According to the same source, the button will bring up the entire advertisement while the clip is paused. The folks from YouTube didn't announce this new plan of introducing a different type of advert but it's well known the fact that Google was interested in making YouTube a friendly website for advertisers.

"At first, when watching the video, two gold areas appear within the YouTube progress bar, one a little bit into the video, and one at the end. When the video reaches that part, the ad swings in, animates and overlays the bottom portion of the screen. After it is done, it goes away, but a little button lets you call it back up. Click the ad, and a new video overlays the first one (the first one pauses) and plays a full advertisement," Nathan Weinberg from InsideGoogle said.

Some time ago, the Google officials announced their plans to introduce pre-clip adverts on YouTube in order to receive some extra money that would be sent to the uploader of the clip. This way, YouTube would boost its traffic, attracting both advertisers and interested uploaders as well as a considerable amount of new videos.
