A bevy of apps got fresh updates today from their respective vendors, including YouTube, Dropbox, Facebook, and many others worthy of your attention. Chances are you have some (if not all) of these apps installed on your iDevice, so head on below for the full scoop on the latest new features and tweaks.

YouTube is at version 2.5.0 with new features like share and like playlists, quickly access your favorite playlists from the Guide, reply to comments and delete your own, and a sneaky new option to check and see if a comment was shared publicly or privately. Download YouTube 2.5.0 on any iDevice with iOS 6.0 (or later) installed.

Dropbox 3.1 arrives with updated illustrations and improved SSO support for Dropbox for Business users. Dropbox has added a huge number of improvements for business users recently, which reveals a more serious side of the cloud company as of late.

The updated Dropbox iOS also comes with a few fixes. An issue where some photos would fail to load has been fixed, and a problem where sorting by date wouldn’t group items properly is also addressed. Several other bugs are squashed as well. Download Dropbox 3.1 on any iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad running iOS 7.0 or newer.

Facebook for iOS is now at version 8.0, offering a simple way to see and choose a photo album's audience, easier ways to post and share on iPads, and speed improvements. Facebook says the client is also more “reliable” now. To download Facebook 8.0, iOS 6 is required.

TwitchTV, the cool app that lets you watch others play video games in real time, now makes broadcaster bios available in profile views and fixes a crash that may occur when refreshing followed channels. Version 3.0.1 also addresses some problems affecting the display of broadcaster profiles on iPhone. Several other code corrections are included too. Download TwitchTV 3.0.1 on iOS 7 devices.

CBS Sports is also on the list for today’s noteworthy updates. Version 7.3.2 is a bug-fix release that addresses errors when creating a new bracket in Bracket Challenge, an issue with the 3rd Bracket Challenge failing to be created, broken rounds, and other stuff. Download CBS Sports for iPhone/iPad on iOS 6.

The popular social networking app ooVoo Video Call 2.1.1 is probably the most exciting update of the lot. You can now check yourself out during a one-on-one video call by just tapping on your video in the corner, and “you’ll switch to take over the full screen,” according to the developer. Just look at how happy the girl in red is (screenshot above).

ooVoo now auto-fills in your password for quicker log-ins (probably not the safest thing to do with nosy roommates), and if you miss a call now you can check your Messages screen to get a history, complete with a badge count. Many bug fixes are included too. Download ooVoo Video Call 2.1.1 on any iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch on iOS 6.0 firmware.
