Just when you thought you'll never get rid of those old parts, this happens

If you have any clear resin to waste, along with trunk load of old hardware, you can put it all together and turn it into a stool.

At least, you would be able to if you had whatever contraption Rodrigo Alonso has.

The guy figured out one possible use for piles of old HDDs, mice, CDs, used video cards and just about every other piece of gear you can think of.

He mixed such a pile with resin and used a mold to shape it like a one-piece stool, complete with handles and feet.

Yes, that thing in the photo is a hardstool, which is a word I made up just now.

Now you can flop down on your keyboard or old coolers and never have to worry about anything going sore again. Well, not too soon, anyway.

Of course, if you're not a geek, you might think that stool looks hideous, even if there is a shiny Apple keyboard right on top. Or you might not.
