The news services currently available on the Internet are continuously attracting more users looking to find the information from numerous sources directly on a single page. Take the example of Google News that receives headlines from more than 4500 sources located in every corner of the world. Although the product uploads only the title of the story and a link to the original publisher, Google News was often criticized for receiving praises for the content provided by other publications. Yahoo News is another leader of the news category that was recently sued by several Belgian newspapers for publishing videos without authorization.

Today, the rumors about a new function for Yahoo News were spreading on the Internet, sustaining the giant portal prepares a service that will sing all the news to the readers/listeners. Although I see this feature useless because I'll never listen to a song to find the latest news, Yahoo sustained the solution is currently in developing stages.

The Reporter online publication sustained Yahoo will hire an experienced reporter and musician to sing the news but it will present only the good part of the information without crimes, wars or other bad things.

"While a Yahoo! spokesman declined to elaborate on the video project, which will be titled "Odd News Underground," he did issue a statement from Scott Moore, head of news and information. "This project will create an entirely new kind of news beat, so stay tuned," Moore said. "All I can say for now is that this reporter will leave you tapping your feet." The singing anchor is the first venture from Yahoo! News since the last year's launch of "The Hot Zone With Kevin Sites," which chronicles the correspondent's travels to war-torn areas around the globe," The Reporter sustained in the article.

So, would you ever listen to your favorite news using a singer hired by Yahoo? It would be very interesting to listen for the latest erotic adventures of the well known Paris Hilton...
