How about giving us a new feature?

I'm almost at my wit's end with the Yahoo IM team, they just keep mentioning their old features instead of coming up with new ones, and I can't stand it anymore! Soundtrack is supposed to be a "hidden" feature, but if it was that at one point, the ones who hid it didn't do a very good job, I knew about it and I'm not an eager beaver who checks obsessively every feature, I just use what I need and just for kicks I give other features available a try.

Nevertheless, in case you didn't know about it, here's what it does and how it works: it's a means of playing some song, of your choice, on your hard drive in the background of your calls. First you have to select a friend in the list and call him, that's either PC to PC or PC to phone, and once he's answered and you start talking, by clicking the sound icon and afterwards the music note icon a window will open from where you can browse to the desired MP3 file from your computer.

In case it's too loud, you are given the option to adjust the volume by clicking the music note icon that has now replaced the sound icon. This has all the basic characteristics of an MP3 player, with the option to FF or REW to a specific point in the song, but don't expect the option to be able to switch to Jazz mode and change the characteristics or speed of the playback.

What's its use? Except for fun I can't think of any, perhaps you could audition to a record company with the instruments playing in the background and you singing over them. Other than that, I'm guessing karaoke was the thing they had in mind when they came up with it. But when will a new feature be presented?
