With its own storage space

Yahoo Mail received lots of features in the recent period but it seems like the parent company doesn't want to stop. In fact, today's feature was introduced some time ago but many of the users are not actually using it. The Signature option is one of the functions which take Yahoo Mail to another level and closer to a POP3 client. If you never used it you should because it allows you to add a little bit message personalization to the email sent from Yahoo Mail. First of all, you should know that you're able to choose from Plain Text or Rich Text, a special option which depends on your signature. If you want to create a simple signature such as 'Best Regard, John', you can use the Plain Text option.

In order to access the Signature function, login into your account, click on Options and then choose the Mail Options field. Select the Signature line and check the 'Show a signature on all outgoing message' box. Under the option, you should be able to see a text box which allows you to configure your signature. As I said, you can choose between the two types of signatures by clicking on the special function available in the right part of the screen.

"There isn't an option to manually insert or edit HTML, but you can copy/paste from other pages if you have something you want to use. Finish off by clicking Save Changes, and you have a signature," Ryan, Community Manager, Yahoo Mail wrote on the official blog of the Sunnyvale company.

As you can see, Yahoo Mail was improved with lots of features that get the technology closer to a POP3 client. But what's more important is that it doesn't support the main function of such an application: the POP3 support which would allow it to work with all the email accounts supporting this protocol.
