Recently, the Sunnyvale company Yahoo rolled out Suggestions, a special function attached to the search engine that shows alternative search queries for the interested user. Actually, the feature was released a long time ago and implemented into the Yahoo Toolbar for Firefox allowing the users who are searching the Internet from the browser's search box to find similar search queries instantly. Today, Yahoo makes another step and introduces the suggestions for the company's toolbar compatible with Internet Explorer, the browser developed by the Windows creator, Microsoft.

"We're driving to push it out to all your favorite search boxes. So, if you haven't tried it yet, give it a go and let us know how it's working for you in the comments below. And, as always, if you'd like to bypass the suggestions altogether, you can easily turn it off in Yahoo! Toolbar by going to the menu below the suggestions or in "Toolbar Options" under Settings," Hua Ai, Product Manager, Yahoo! Toolbar, proudly announced.

The Yahoo rival Google has always tried to implement suggestions into its famous search engine but until now, it rolled out only tests and similar functions that were never implemented into the final product. Meanwhile, Yahoo was silently working on this product and managed to release it as a final service and moreover, it continues to work on it to make it compatible with most of the company's products.

"Sensing a pattern? We really believe that Search Suggestions improves your search experience. By automatically giving you suggestions based on what you've typed (as you're typing), you can get to what you're looking for faster," the Yahoo representative added.
