Forget the NFS series, Colin McRae Rally, Richard Burns Rally or whatever. If you are a real racing fanatic, you must rewind back to 2004, and maybe you will remember the rally racing simulator from Techland, Xpand Rally. Probably the most accurate rally racing simulator out there.

Unlike many games that see themselves as racing simulators, Xpand Rally features some real car physics. Each component of the car, including the chassis and bodywork, if damaged, had an effect on you car and its handling abilities. If you really wanted to know if you were cut out to be a rally driver, Xpand Rally was the way to do it.

The game does not feature any licensed cars because not a single car manufactured allowed for their models to be damaged in any way like in the real rally races. Now, Techland has announced that they are developing a sequel for the rally simulator game and that it will be called Xpand Rally Extreme.

As most of rally racing fans know, the China Rally has been pulled from the WRC due to the high degree of dangerousness of the circuit. If you miss this circuit and want to experience it, maybe you should try out Xpand Rally Extreme. The special stages that have been eliminated from the Corsica Rally are also included in the new installment of Xpand.

15 cars in 23 versions will be present in the game, 8 new models that can race on 5 sceneries including China, Malaysia, Japan, Italy and USA. The three modes of play Career, Race and Multiplayer can be experienced along 67 individual races.
