Xcute has managed to release a multimedia cellphone with a super pack of features, still maintaining the overall dimensions of the handset at a very high standard (105mm x 50mm x 9.7mm and a weight of 79 grams). The feature that stands out is the software enhanced 3 megapixel camera, capable to emulate a 6 megapixel one with the help of the built-in auto-focus, flash module and, most importantly, the image enhancing software pre-installed on the device.

The Xcute S50 is a tri-band, with an outstanding, super-size 640x240 pixels resolution LTPS display, capable of rendering 16.7 million colors (this is the best display you can get on the market for now). It also has a multimedia player, supporting playback for MP3s and for the most used video formats: MPEG4, AVI, ASF and MOV, also recording videos at the usual mobile phone framerate of 30 frames per second. This multimedia king wannabe also has a TV-OUT function and offers the possibility to expand the device's memory with the help of the microSD memory card slot.

For now, Xcute has announced the release of the phone only in Taiwan, not mentioning a thing about its price or its possible release in other countries.
