An official announcement might reveal more included content

It seems that the team at Microsoft in charge of the future of the Xbox One is preparing to reveal a bundle for the home console which includes one of the white devices and the upcoming Halo: The Master Chief Collection, probably set to be launched on the same day that the new game package also arrives, on November 11.

AllGamesBeta has posted the image on Twitter and it comes from the Brazil Game Show, where the official announcement about it might take place before the end of the week.

It’s unclear whether there’s any other content included in the special package apart from the video game and the Xbox One home console.

Microsoft and developer 343 Industries have not commented on the leak and will probably continue to keep silent until they are ready to make it official.

The fact that the white version of the Xbox One is included shows how important the launch of Halo: The Master Chief Collection is to the company.

The version of the device was initially reserved for employees of the company and was supposed to never be offered to the general public, but Microsoft has already bent that policy in order to offer another bundle for the upcoming exclusive Sunset Overdrive from Insomniac Games.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection and the future of the series

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is designed to give players, both long-term fans and newcomers, a chance to relieve the entire narrative thread focused on the iconic character, with gameplay and graphics quality that is enhanced by the use of the Xbox One.

343 Industries says that it currently does not want to offer the same treatment to spin-offs like Reach and ODST.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection will include both classic and new multiplayer experiences, and most of the work has been linked to the Anniversary edition of Halo 2.

Microsoft has recently announced that the very popular Warlock map is being reimagined as Warlord and will deliver a new type of multiplayer experience, with more cover and a new weapon to fight over.

In 2015, the company will launch an entirely new title called Halo 5: Guardians, which is supposed to deliver an entirely new story that sees gamers confront a new threat to the safety of the galaxy.

A recent statement from the actor playing Agent Locke in the Nightfall live action series suggests that Master Chief might not be the main character of the new title, at least for some portion of the core story.
