14 DAY TRIAL // Indian company XOLO launched its One smartphone back in October 2014. Although the device did not prove to be as popular as expected, Google has decided to introduce the One series in Europe as well.
However, in India, XOLO thought it would be beneficial to revive its One smartphone by launching a limited edition aimed at football fans.
The XOLO One Liverpool FC Edition will be exclusively available in India via major retailer Snapdeal. Customers will be able to get the entry-level Android handset for just Rs 6,299 ($99 / €85) off contract.
“The launch is an extension of our partnership with LFC, giving fans more reasons to cheer and celebrate their love for football. The Liverpool FC Edition XOLO One personifies performance and style, and is loaded with exclusive LFC content and branded accessories, adding to fans’ delight,” said Sunil Raina, Business Head, XOLO.
The Liverpool FC Edition of XOLO One has the same hardware specs as the standard model, AndroidOS reports.
Still, the limited edition smartphone comes bundled with a customized LFC-branded charger, LFC-branded case, and an authenticity certificate.
Liverpool wallpapers and boot animation
Software-wise, the device comes pre-loaded with Liverpool wallpapers and LFC boot animation. It's also worth mentioning that the smartphone will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box.
XOLO One is equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor, a Mali-400MP2 graphics processing units and 1GB of RAM.
The smartphone packs only 8GB of internal memory, but users can further expand storage up to 32GB via microSD card slot. On the back, XOLO One features a 5-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash and video recording, while on the front there's a secondary VGA camera.
Last but not least, the handset sports a 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixel resolution, as well as 1,700 mAh battery.
