14 DAY TRIAL // As far as PC cases go, most people usually buy mid-tower models, because they are large enough to hold all essential hardware, plus a few things more, but not so large that they end up being more empty than full.
And yet there are loads of full-tower enclosures out for sale, like the 6019 MOD Series that X2 has just introduced to the world.
It will house all but the largest and most expansive, enthusiast gaming systems, since there are some XL-ATX and E-ATX motherboards it can't hold.
The X2.6019 tower chassis has a “stylish, unique design for real enthusiast” with “meshed bezel [that] provides the superior airflow.”
It comes with four 5.25-inch drive bays (for ODDs, fan controllers, watercooling reservoirs) and six internal 3.5-inch drive bays (direct cooling set-up, four in a removable drive cage).
Then again, there isn't much chance for a fan controller from a third party to be installed in the 5.25-inch bays. After all, the 6019 MOD Series has its own, right at the top, next to the power switch.
Obviously, this means the newcomer has at least one spinner by default. There are three really: a 140mm Blue LED Fan at the front, an identical one at the top, and a 120mm Nano Tech Fan at the back.
And even with all that, the interior of the chassis is very spacious, especially when the HDD drive cage is taken out. Even the longest AMD or NVIDIA graphics cards should fit in that instance, along with particularly large CPU coolers.
Furthermore, the case gets pre-applied rubber grommet holes (feed the external water-cooling tubes into the chassis), two USB 3.0 ports, individual Fan1 and Fan2 on/off switch (performance/silent mode), a partition-board (independent thermal management for CPU and GPU), and cable management.
Everything is enclosed or affixed to a strong, high-quality 0.6 SECC steel skeleton.
