If you’re a sucker for romance, this is the film for you. The same applies if you’re a sucker for Emily Bronte’s masterpiece “Wuthering Heights,” perhaps you should not miss its latest film adaptation.

Coming from director Andrea Arnold (“Fish Tank”), this new “Wuthering Heights” is moodier than previous adaptations and, at the same time, decidedly more modern as well.

Below is a first trailer for it, courtesy of Vulture magazine.

The film stars Kaya Scodelario and newcomer James Howson as the star-crossed lovers Catherine and Heathcliff, but what really stands out from the trailer is the amazing visuals provided by cinematographer Robbie Ryan.

“Wuthering Heights” will get a limited US release on October 5 so, if you like what you see in the trailer, make sure you won’t miss it.
