She’s always been a diva, perhaps one of the worst

Victoria Beckham is probably one of the most photographed women in the world, but ironically, she’s quite shy when it comes to discussing her personal life with the media. She turns every airport walk into her personal catwalk and she always has her game face on for the paparazzi, but very little is known about her as a person.

In time, this led to the appearance of some of the most hilarious myths, like how she never smiles because she doesn’t have teeth or she only survives on lemon water because she’s dying to be a fashion icon and she’s not even that bright to begin with.

Another myth about Victoria Beckham is that, behind closed doors, she’s one of the world’s biggest divas, perhaps bigger than even Mariah Carey herself.

Victoria is the hotel guest from hell

If we’re to believe reports online, Victoria Beckham doesn’t even carry her own designer bag, let alone her luggage or her shopping bags. She also has about 10 people on hand around her at all times, whether at home or out on the town, from maids to bodyguards and personal assistants who take off her shoes when she’s tired.

Page Six adds another thing to this impressive diva list: Victoria is the hotel guest from hell, perhaps the world’s worst hotel guest.

Apparently, whenever she travels, whether alone or accompanied by her equally famous family comprising husband David Beckham and their 4 kids, she requests that her room be cleaned and the sheets and towels changed every time she leaves the room.

She does that several times a day, just in case you were about to say her request isn’t that unreasonable.

Moreover, should something not be to her liking, Victoria causes a huge scandal and then has the manager pay for her entire stay, as compensation.

Apparently, she did it at the Meadowood Napa Valley resort a couple of years ago, and she caused such a scene that the staff there still talks about it to this day.

Victoria pens essay on humility

A few days ago, Time Magazine asked Mrs. Beckham to pen an op-ed on her own experience on motherhood in anticipation of last weekend’s Mother’s Day.

Ironically, since this Page Six report came out at about the same time, she talked about humility and how she and David were trying to instill it into their children.

“Being in a position where they live such a privileged life,” she wrote, “it is important that our children understand humility, that they appreciate how their parents have worked very hard to create this life for the family and that they, too, have a responsibility to work hard, be respectful and never, ever take anything for granted.”

The rest of her essay is beautifully worded and carries a lovely message (that children enrich life and make it several times more interesting), but it’s this paragraph in particular that’s getting a lot of attention online because of the Page Six report about how humility doesn’t even enter her daily vocabulary.
