14 DAY TRIAL // The shortest woman in the world, according to the Guinness World Records, has made an appearance in New York City this week.
Jyoti Amge has been present at the launch of the Guinness Book of World Records, the 2014 edition. Her height of just 2 feet and seven-tenths of an inch (62.8 cm) has granted her a record title, NY Daily News details.
She visited Times Square for the first time in her life and, naturally, she found it gigantic.
“New York is very nice, very big. [...] I’ve always seen New York on television. I’m very excited to actually be here at last,” she says.
Amge lives in Nagpur, India. She is 19 years old and still in high-school. She has acting aspirations, planning to appear in movies in Bollywood. Eventually, she plans to move to Hollywood for her film career.
