Blizzard Entertainment has released another brand new video, showing the origin story of Grommash Hellscream, the leader of the Warsong clan.

The vid is tied to the upcoming release of the Warlords of Draenor expansions for the company's massively multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft, which will explore an alternate history of the orcish horde, this time around foregoing the unholy alliance that doomed them when they last tried to conquer the world, and trying to make it on their own.

Setting

The Warcraft universe is pretty big and eventful, but in a nutshell, evil things from outer space corrupted one of the progenitor titans tasked with defending the worlds that the titans had created, he created The Burning Legion, and everything went downhill from there.

The orcs drank the blood of a demon promising them untold power, but also robbing them of their will, and now that several demonic invasions have been repelled, it is high time someone went back and changed the past so we could have another adventure on our hands.

The video depicting Grommash's origin starts off by showing him and his clan on the verge of annihilation, mainly due to his recklessness, but also showing his iron resolve as an ever-burning hope for the orcs.

His tale takes off like any other revenge story, focusing mostly on showing the conflict between the orcs and the ogres, taking place in the fertile grasslands of Nagrand, the home of both the Warsong tribe and the seat of the ogrish empire.

Changing history

The plot in the upcoming expansion follows a mysterious stranger approaching young Grommash and saving him from a nefarious scheme set in motion by Gul'Dan and the demons of the Burning Legion, meaning to use the orcs as their tools of destruction.

Freed from the influence of the demons, the Iron Horde will become one of the fiercest forces to ever set foot on Draenor, bent on conquering Talador, the Shadowmoon Valley and Frostfire Ridge, and then to go beyond the bounds of their home planet, but this time doing it all on their own.

At least that's the layout that level-90 characters will step into when the expansion drops. Warlords of Dreanor is coming out on November 13, 2014, celebrating World of Warcraft's tenth anniversary.

The expansion will bring a lot of changes to the popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game, a lot of new features and streamlined PvE and PvP progression, as well as a compelling new storyline to uncover and follow.
