14 DAY TRIAL // Apple has approved Blizzard's official WoW Armory client for iPhone and iPod Touch. The free app allows WoW fans and owners of an Apple handset to see important stats, character info, PvP leaderboards, use a talent calculator and more stuff they could previously only access on their computer.
The World of Warcraft Mobile Armory is simply the mobile version of World of Warcraft’s official searchable database for the iPhone and iPod touch. As such, the app replicates much of the functionality and information found on the Armory website. World of Warcraft and Battle.net account regions supported by the Mobile Armory app include accounts originating from the Americas, Europe, and Korea.
Wow.com lists the following main features for the app:
- Character information, including gear, achievements, and specs; - PvP leader boards; - Talent calculators; - Official Blizzard news; - An integrated item browser; - In-game calendars.
“Ever wanted to check your raid schedule, look up a piece of PvP gear, or concoct a new talent spec while on the go? The World of Warcraft Mobile Armory app for iPhone and iPod touch lets you access the official Armory database from anywhere you have a mobile connection, and features much of the same functionality as the Armory website,” the app's official description on the WoW Armory website reads.
WoW fans can download the app right now from the WoW Armory page, or directly via the iTunes App Store using the link below. This is the second iPhone app aimed at WoW fans developed by Blizzard Entertainment, following the Battle.net Authenticator. The Mobile Armory application is compatible with iPhone versions 2.2.1 and later.
