Blizzard Entertainment has announced the Collector's Edition for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, the third expansion to the most successful massively multiplayer online role playing game in the world. It includes the paraphernalia that Blizzard usually provides for its limited releases.

The World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Collector's Edition is comprised of an art book, an in-game pet, a behind-the-scenes DVD, the title's soundtrack, a mouse pad and World of Warcraft Trading Card Game cards.

The Art of the Cataclysm book has 176 pages depicting the work the art and cinematics departments at Blizzard did for the expansion during its development.

The in-game pet is entitled Lil' Deathwing and, as the name suggests, it is a miniaturized version of the dragon that has lain waste to Azeroth. The behind-the-scenes DVD has over an hour of interviews with the developers, commentaries for the cinematics and a Warcraft retrospective the examines the history of the universe and of the franchise.

The soundtrack CD is what one could expect from Blizzard, with ten songs from the Cataclysm official music score, as well as other bonus tracks. The mouse-pad has an image of Deathwing on it, as it wreaks havoc in the world of Warcraft.

The WoW TCG cards from the package include 60-card starter deck from the Wrathgate series, two extended-art cards, and two Collector's Edition-exclusive hero cards. It will also introduce goblins and worgen heroes to the game.

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm will be launching world wide by the end of this years. It involves the return of the corrupted Dragon Aspect Deathwing. The beast has devasted all of Azeroth, proving Blizzard with a reason to redesign the original two continents of the game world, making them available for flying mounts.

The best testing is currently undeway for the game and players who want to have a chance to explore Blizzard's changes to the starting areas of the biggest MMORPG in the world can sign up for a Battle.net account.
