The free-to-play online game won't need a gold subscription for testing

Wargaming has confirmed that World of Tanks will get its second beta stage on the Xbox 360 this weekend, and that all console owners can participate as this test phase does not require a Xbox Live Gold membership.

World of Tanks is one of the most popular free-to-play titles worldwide, delivering a great and complex experience starring all sorts of war machines.

After confirming the upcoming release of World Of Tanks on the Xbox 360 back in summer, Wargaming has revealed that a second beta stage takes place this weekend, starting later today, December 14.

During these two days, all Xbox 360 owners can participate in the online battles and earn goodies that can be used once the actual game appears. They can also start controlling British tanks in the new test phase.

- Event Begins: Saturday, December 14 at 00:00 PST (08:00 GMT) - Event Ends: Sunday, December 15 at 23:59 PST (07:59 Monday GMT) - x5 Experience for the First Victory of the Day in Each Vehicle - 25% Silver Discount on All Non-Premium British Vehicles Tiers II - V

- Between the hours of 15:00 and 18:00 PST on Saturday (23:00 and 02:00 GMT) Bonus Event: - The top 25 players achieving the highest amount of experience in a single battle (premium/daily modifiers do not apply) with a British tier V and up vehicle will earn 2,500 Beta Gold, 30 Days of Beta Premium Time, 500,000 Silver and our kudos!

- Additionally, play 10 battles between the hours listed above and you'll earn one week of Premium time after launch! - x2 XP and Silver Income in All Battles - x3 Crew XP in All Battles - Achieve the “Sniper” medal and receive 15,000 Silver (repeatable) - Achieve the “Steel Wall” medal and receive 15,000 Silver (repeatable)

World of Tanks has yet to receive a concrete release date on the Xbox 360.
